I have b en making jewellery on and off for over 35 years. When my husbands' ill health caused a sudden move to Tywyn, this became the catalyst to turn a hobby into Born To Bead, the business.

I am very eclectic in both the styles, colours and media I choose for my jewellery work. Natural shells and semi- precious stones remain a firm favourite but the very varied tones and low weight of some resins and plastics do make them interesting and adaptable to work with.

More recently I have started to link a childhood skill at Macramé with Chinese and Celtic knotting techniques. I really do enjoy teaching small groups of new/novice beaders and seeing the variety and colour range of the items each class can produce from very similar starting materials.

I am very pleased to undertake small or large private commissions, plus most alterations or repairs to existing jewellery pieces. Please do feel free to contact me.
