My name is Helen Hicks.

Based in Powys, Pethau Bach was established in September 2004.

I previously worked as a research technician in a laboratory. I have been doing crafts for as long as I can remember, and I like to try new things continuously.

My main passion is making children’s dressing up outfits. It enables me to indulge my obsession with different fabrics. I particularly enjoy trying to use up oddments of fabric and recycling bits & pieces as well.

I can make outfits to order for both adults and children - contact me with your idea.

I also make soaps & solid shampoos. I had been doing this as a hobby for some time before I started up my business.

I have 5 solid shampoo recipes and 7 soap recipes, which have all been safety tested in accordance with regulations.
